In the heart of Alberta, the Alberta Multicultural Integration Centre (AMIC) stands as a beacon of hope for immigrants, newcomers, refugees, and young workers from East Africa. As we navigate through unprecedented times, the urgency for our services has never been more pronounced. The stark reality is that Alberta faces alarmingly high unemployment and underemployment rates among these groups, leaving many individuals and families in a state of despair. At AMIC, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to thrive and are committed to bridging the gap between potential and opportunity.

Core Principles
Our core values prioritize individual responsibility, community support, and the importance of hard work. We believe in the dignity of every person and the potential for each individual to contribute positively to society. Our principles are rooted in the belief that economic prosperity and social success are achievable for all, provided they have the right support and resources.
Vision
Our vision is to ensure that immigrants, newcomers, refugees, and young workers from East Africa have the jobs and integration support they need to contribute to Alberta’s and Canada’s economic and social success. We envision a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
